Why can't I just use a high-resolution JPEG for printing?
JPEGs are made of pixels. When you enlarge them, they become blurry. Vector art is made of mathematical paths — it stays sharp at any size, from a business card to a billboard. Vector files are essential for screen printing, vinyl cutting, large signage, and any production where the design will be resized.
What's the difference between simple and complex vector?
Simple vector ($15 flat rate): Logos with clean lines, under 5 colors, no gradient shading, single object. Complex vector (custom quote): Mascots, photo-realistic illustrations, designs with gradient shading or photo elements, multi-object compositions, sports team logos with detailed elements. If you're unsure which category your design falls into, send it through our quote form — we'll classify it and quote accordingly.
Can you convert a hand-drawn sketch into a digital vector?
Yes. Photograph your sketch, send it through the contact form, and we'll redraw it as a clean digital vector ready for production. We manually trace every line — no auto-trace shortcuts. Photo-quality input is fine; we don't need a professionally-scanned source.
What file formats do you accept for conversion?
JPG, PNG, PDF, BMP, GIF, TIFF, even photos of physical artwork. Higher resolution source files produce slightly faster results, but we can work with low-quality images too. If your source is extremely poor quality, we'll let you know if redrawing from scratch is the better approach.
Can you match exact Pantone colors?
Yes. Provide your Pantone codes during the order and we'll match exactly. If you don't have Pantone codes, we'll convert your existing colors to their closest Pantone equivalents. This is critical for screen printing and corporate brand consistency.
Will your files work with my software?
Our outputs work with Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Inkscape, Affinity Designer, Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, and any major vector software. We deliver multiple formats by default so you can use whichever your workflow needs.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes — free unlimited revisions on every order. Minor adjustments to existing elements are always free. Major design changes (adding new elements, completely changing the concept, or significant color reworks) may be quoted as additional work, but we always discuss this with you before charging anything extra.
