What is the difference between a logo and a digitized file?
A logo is a visual image (like a PNG or JPG), but an embroidery machine cannot read pixels. Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting that image into a set of commands (stitches, stops, and trims) that a machine can execute. Our digitizers manually create optimal stitch paths to ensure your design embroiders perfectly on fabric.
Can you digitize for 3D Puff embroidery?
Yes. 3D Puff requires a specific digitizing technique where we use high-density satin stitches to cover the foam. We optimize the 'underlay' and 'capping' to ensure a clean, professional finish. Our 3D puff files are tested for proper foam coverage and dimensional stability on caps, hoodies, and jackets.
Will your files work on my machine?
Our files are compatible with all major commercial and home brands, including Tajima, Barudan, Brother, Janome, Ricoma, Melco, ZSK, and Happy. We provide files in DST, PES, EXP, JEF, EMB, and other formats upon request. Each file is tested for compatibility and production readiness.
What file formats do you accept for artwork?
We accept all common image formats including JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, and CDR. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) are preferred as they provide the cleanest conversion. If you only have a low-resolution image, our team can still work with it, though we may recommend our vector art service for optimal results.
What is the maximum size you can digitize?
We can digitize designs of any size, from small 1-inch left chest logos to full jacket backs up to 14" x 18". Our monthly packages cover designs up to 5 inches, while larger designs are quoted individually. Size affects stitch count and complexity, which impacts pricing and turnaround time.
Do you offer revisions if I'm not satisfied?
Absolutely. We offer free technical revisions for any digitizing errors or quality issues. This includes fixing thread breaks, adjusting density, or correcting stitch paths.
