What is the difference between a logo and a digitized file?
A logo is a visual image (PNG, JPG). An embroidery machine cannot read pixels — it reads stitch commands. Embroidery digitizing converts your logo into a machine-readable file containing stitches, stops, color changes, and trim instructions. Our digitizers manually create optimal stitch paths so your design embroiders cleanly on real fabric, not just on screen.
Can you digitize for 3D puff embroidery?
Yes. 3D puff requires high-density satin stitches to cover the foam and specific underlay/capping techniques to keep the foam contained. We test 3D puff files specifically on caps and structured headwear before delivery to confirm proper foam coverage and dimensional stability.
Will your files work on my embroidery machine?
Our files are compatible with Tajima, Barudan, Brother, Janome, Ricoma, Melco, ZSK, Happy, and Bernina machines. We deliver in DST, PES, EXP, JEF, EMB, HUS, VP3, and XXX formats. If you need a less common format, request it during your quote — we likely support it.
What artwork formats do you accept?
We accept JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, and CDR. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) give the cleanest result. If you only have a low-resolution photo, we can still work with it — but for the best embroidery quality, we may suggest converting it to vector first via our vector art service.
What size designs can you digitize?
From 1-inch left-chest logos up to full jacket backs (typically 14" x 18"). Designs under 5 inches are $10. Designs over 5 inches are $18. Very large or unusually complex designs (over 50,000 stitches, multi-color cap-back placements, etc.) are quoted individually.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes — free unlimited revisions on every order. This includes fixing thread breaks, adjusting density, changing colors, or correcting stitch paths. Significant design changes (adding new elements, resizing beyond 20%) are treated as new orders, but minor edits are always free.
What's your real turnaround time?
Standard designs (under 5 inches): 3-5 hours. Larger or more complex designs: 4-6 hours. Because we run a 24/7 schedule with night-shift coverage, US and UK clients typically receive files during their business day even if they submit at off-hours. We don't charge rush fees.
