Why your quote might be higher than the base price
A lot of digitizing quotes start low and grow once you actually place the order. The base per-design price is rarely the whole story — most of the added cost comes from a small set of fees that don't always get mentioned upfront.
Setup fees
Some digitizers charge a flat setup or account fee before they'll even start on your first design, separate from the per-design price. It's worth asking directly whether a quote includes this before you compare it to another shop's number.
Rush fees
Needing a file faster than standard turnaround is one of the most commonly upcharged parts of digitizing — some shops add a percentage surcharge to rush orders. At Stitch Official, this isn't a thing: our standard turnaround is already 3-5 hours, and if you need something prioritized, rush service is free. We run night-shift coverage specifically so US and UK clients get files back during their own business day, not after a rush surcharge.
Resizing and re-digitizing fees
If a design doesn't stitch the way you expected — puckering, thread breaks, a logo that looks fine on screen but not on fabric — some shops charge to fix it, treating the correction as a new job. We don't. Edits and revisions are free, with an approval-based workflow that continues until you're satisfied, not until you've paid for another round.
What to ask before you order elsewhere
- Is rush turnaround included, or does it cost extra?
- If the stitched result isn't right, is the first revision free?
- Is there a setup or account fee separate from the per-design price?
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Stitch Official charge extra for rush orders?

Are edits and revisions really free?
Yes, with no revision cap. If a file doesn't stitch the way you expected, we fix it at no extra charge until you're satisfied.
Is there a setup fee to start ordering?
No setup or account fee — you pay the published per-design price ($10 under 5", $18 over 5") and nothing else for standard digitizing.
